Block Schedule Monday April 24 Periods 1,3 and 5 and Tuesday April 25 Periods 2, 4 and 6. Regular schedule resumes Wednesday April 26th.                                                                                                  College Commitment Ceremony is taking place Wednesday April 26th.                                                         SBAC Testing currently taking place. Look at the link below for updated information about scheduling and testing schedule for both SBAC and AP testing.                                                                      10 of our students were given Honorable Mention for a local photography contest. Winners of Honorable Mention status along with the images can be found on the CTE page under our photo album.                                                    Drama students competed in the Thespian Festival this past weekend. Giovanni Gallegos and Marissa Hinojos both won Superior awards while Liliana Barajas won an ultimate superior award for Monologue. Top 15% in the state. They are headed to Nebraska this summer! Congratulations!

Mission and Vision

Mission Statement

The community of John Glenn High School will graduate students who have the ability to pursue post-secondary options of their choice. Our students will qualify to enroll at a college, university, vocational training or certification program without the need for remediation.

Vision Statement

We will provide our students with the background knowledge and ability to research both the career options and the training necessary to enter the field of their choice.
