We are very excited to introduce our new 24/7 online tutoring service from, available to Norwalk-La Mirada students in grades 4-12 beginning Monday, October 26, 2020.™ connects you with expert online tutors who can help you with your core academic areas and you’ll also have access to educational tools and study resources such as:

• Diagnostic quizzes

This FREE tutoring service can be accessed from any Internet-ready device so you can have access to a tutor when and where you need one.

Just log in to your NLMUSD Schoology account, click on the App icon and select to get academic support anytime, 24/7, with a live expert tutor.

NLMUSD Gains Admission Area Status for CSULB

The Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District announced today that it has gained local admission area status for students seeking to enter California State University, Long Beach.

The designation, starting for the 2021-22 school year, means that qualified NLMUSD graduates seeking entry to CSULB as first-time freshmen or upper-division transfers will be given priority admission as local residents. Click the news article to continue reading...

Local Continuity Plan Stakeholder Survey

Dear NLMUSD Community,

The state of California has enacted new procedures to support stakeholder engagement in response to COVID-19. Previously, we had the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP). Instead of the LCAP this year, the state has required all districts to develop a Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan (LCP). The plan development guidelines include valuable collaboration with our stakeholders. The consultation and feedback from our entire school community is essential, and we have developed this survey to obtain your feedback.

Thank you in advance for your support as we address the challenges facing our school community together. This survey will help us improve as we continue to develop our plan for the 20-21 school year and will only take about 5 minutes to complete.
