Class of 2016! There are so many events coming up to wrap up your Senior Year. Check out the link to see the dates and times of the events leading up to your Graduation Day on June 16th. Final week to purchase your Prom 2016 ticket. Price is $100 which includes dinner and a night full of fun and dancing at the Reef Restaurant in Long Beach. The room has an attached patio that overlooks Long Beach Harbor. Come dressed up to enjoy the start of your final week in High School and celebrate with your friends. We will be on a modified block schedule during the week of May 16th through May 27th. Monday and Thursday will be periods 1, 3 and 5. Tuesday and Friday will be periods 2, 4 and 6. Wednesday May 18th will be regular schedule late start. Wednesday May 25th will be regular schedule. All classes start at 7:55 am and will end at 3:00 pm. Class periods and times will be posted in this link.

Just Us 2 will be shown in the MPR starting Friday May 13th and then continue the following week. May 17-20th. The show starts at 7:00 pm and ticket prices start at just $5.00. See McLoy or any Drama Freak for tickets. Price jumps to $10.00 at the door. Don't miss this opportunity to see some fantastic work. Including appearances by thespians who will be attending the International Thespian Festival this summer in Lincoln, Nebraska.

There is an app out there known as Ogle that everyone needs to be aware of. Essentially, Ogle is an app that allows anyone to “anonymously” post anything that they want about any school they choose – including ours. Schools across the nation are reporting inappropriate posts on Ogle that vary between cyber bullying of other students, nudity and drug use photos being published and shaming of classmates, administrators and staff. There are other apps out there like this; however, Ogle seems to be the most popular right now.

On Thursday Night, April 14th at 6:00 pm. The choirs of John Glenn High School, Waite Middle School and Los Alisos Middle School will join together in song. The concert will take place at John Glenn High School in the Multi Purpose Room. Please join us in an evening full of song and celebrating the students of these three schools.

Final Days to purchase your Grad Night Tickets! Last Day is this Thursday March 24th! There will be NO TICKETS SOLD after March 24th! So purchase your ticket NOW. Clear Obligations later. There are limited tickets available so purchase yours early. Grad Nite will be held at Disneyland and California Adventure on Friday June 10th. Ticket prices are $100 a ticket and can only be purchased during the ticket window. Please see Angela in the Attendance office for obligations and Maria in the student store to purchase.
