Annual Holiday Bazaar

Enjoy the Holiday Spirit Friday December 18th! First we start with our annual Holiday Concert during a double fourth assembly. Then we end our day with the annual Holiday Bazaar in the Quad during an extend 6th period. So save your pennies and come with an appetite! Dismissal is at 1:00pm on Friday December 18th.

Speak: Poetry Slam

Poetry Slam will be held Friday December 11th at 7pm in the JGHS MPR. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door or from any Drama Club member. This fantastic event is only held once a year and you can hear from a variety of students on topics that have made an impact on their lives.

JGHS Stuff a Bus

Stuff a Bus will be here on Thursday December 10th! Bring a new unwrapped toy for ages 1-18 to place in the bus during lunch. We would love to pass our last year's amount of over 300 toys donated. So bring a toy or stop by room 302 for more information!

Free Financial Aid Workshop

Wednesday December 9th there will be a free financial aid workshop in the MPR starting at 6pm. Everyone is welcome to attend this event that will focus on helping families get their students the funding they will need to attend college.

Senior Portraits

Seniors you have until this Saturday November 21st to take your senior portrait. You must call or go online to schedule your appointment. 714-399-0575 or go.lifetouch.com This is your final chance to have your senior portrait in the yearbook. Call to make your appointment right away.

Employee of the Month {October} - Wesley Phillips

Congratulations to our Interim Plant Protection Officer, Wesley Phillips for being voted as staff member of the month! Wesley is a very important part of the John Glenn security team. He has done an outstanding job. We appreciate you!

Underclassmen Spotlight

Abigail Covarrubias was voted as the Underclassmen Spotlight for the month of October. She is currently a Varsity Cheerleader and on the Girls Soccer Team. Abby comes to JGHS from Waite Middle School.
