French 1: this course is designed to introduce students to the basic linguistic and grammatical structures of the French language as well as the culture of Francophone countries through authentic text, music, and art. 
 
French 2:  students in this course will further develop their understanding of the French language and its associated cultures and improve their spoken and written abilities.
 
All courses make use of games and learning activities that involve listening, reading, speaking, and writing in French, as well as technology based resources such as the online version of T'es Branché, Quizlet and Kahoot.
 
ELD
Beginning speakers of English will learn and develop their listening, speaking, and writing skills.  Intermediate students will further refine their English language skills through in class activities, ELPAC preparation, presentations, written assignments and use of educational apps.
 
         Who am I?
 

I am Franco-American, having grown up in the Paris area and graduated from the Lycée International de St.Germain-en-Laye.  I also spent part of my childhood in Tokyo, Japan.  I attended Northwestern University, earning a Bachelor's in Communications and International Studies, and a Master's in Learning Disabilities.  I earned my French credential from CSULB.
